Comfort cooling series

VRX LatentZone

Central dehumidification.
Individual zone comfort.

For new construction and for replacing existing units.

LatentZone. Central dehumidification. Individual zone comfort. Full mixed-air treatment with recovered-heat reheat. LatentZone PD: up to 8 zones, Pressure De-Coupled with individual zone reheat. LatentZone DD: dual-deck systems, including 8+ zones; zone dampers blend warm and cool air. Configuration and capacity selected for each project. Equipment illustration.

One system / Two comfort needs

Remove moisture centrally. Adjust temperature by zone.

LatentZone handles dehumidification in the central mixed-air stream, then uses recovered heat to bring every zone to its own setpoint. Each zone receives dehumidified air at a temperature suited to its comfort needs, without a gas boiler.

01 / Central treatment

Full mixed-air dehumidification

Return air and outdoor air are treated together to remove moisture before the air is delivered to the zones.

02 / Zone comfort

Recovered-heat reheat

Heat recovered inside the system, not boiler heat, brings each zone to temperature, so different parts of the building stay comfortable at the same time.

03 / Coordination

Factory-integrated controls

Central dehumidification and zone temperature control are coordinated as one integrated system.

Two configurations / One outcome

Selected by zone count.

Both configurations deliver the same LatentZone result. The number of zones and the system type decide which one fits, whether the building is new or the existing units are due for replacement.

LatentZone DD / For larger buildings

More zones. Less to change.

One rooftop unit, many zones. LatentZone DD brings central dehumidification and recovered-heat comfort to new buildings with simple air-side zoning, and to existing dual-deck buildings while keeping what already works below the roof.

01

Past 8 zones

Zone count is set by the damper section, not by the refrigeration system.

02

Simple zoning, new or existing

New buildings get standard zone dampers and thermostats; on replacements, duct runs and controls can stay in place.

03

Refrigerant stays on the roof

No refrigerant piping or valves in occupied spaces.

04

Year-round comfort

Dehumidification in the cooling season and recovered-heat warm-up in the heating season, with no gas boiler.

Constant volume as standard. Variable air volume available where the project calls for lower fan energy.
